Mat Kekevski, Bees in flight (ANIMAL & NATURE 2026)

I set set myself the challenge of capturing bees in flight. Imaging them on a flower or plant is relatively straightforward but while in flight it is much harder, especially capturing sharp images. I had to be flexible so the images are all taken hand held. I generally waited for the bee to take off from the flower and too a burst of shots.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
