Jacob Dedman, At Southern Rod and Custom (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

I shoot at Southern Rod and Custom every few weeks and am getting to know the team there, which makes capturing moments like this even better. One of the paint prep guys was sitting on a stool, sanding a Ford shell, dust covering him and the car, one hand resting on it, looking up and smiling at a colleague just out of frame. It’s such an art what they do there, and I love capturing moments like this—the quiet focus, the simple connection, the honesty of people at work.
