Kerrie Ware, Artscape (CREATIVE 2026)

The landscapes in the South West of Western Australia have provided fuel for much of my art and photography this year. Our trip in May revealed colours, textures and contrasts that continue to feed the senses. This photo is of a farm; a farm that extends for kilometres into the distance with a fence that sits at the edge, near the road, weathered and sentinel like. I have overlayed the image with a photograph of one of my abstract art works. In so doing, the richness and warmth of the landscape is reinforced in my memory.
