Poppi Cosmetatos, Architectural Shadows (BLACK & WHITE 2025)

I am a junior currently in year 11 at St Vincents College. This was produced by me for my Year 10 photography class. In this work, I wanted to explore how light transforms architecture. The staircase, walls, and glass are simple, functional elements, but under the shifting daylight they become a canvas of geometry and shadow. The photograph focuses on contrast—between light and dark, and invites the viewer to pause and notice the quiet beauty hidden in ordinary spaces.
