Evie Annette Taylor, Anya (PEOPLE 2026)

This series was photographed with Anya at Beachmere on the Sunshine Coast. It started as a horse shoot, but as the session went on I found myself drawn more to the person in front of me than the original idea. The horse became part of the story, but not the focus. Some of my favourite images came from the quiet moments in between when nothing was forced and Anya could just be herself. That's where the real connection happened. The entire series was shot on a Sony A1 II using only a 24–70mm Gmii lens. No big setup, no extra gear. Just natural light, one camera, one lens, and letting the moment unfold.
