Sarah Cox, Among the Lavender (ANIMAL & NATURE 2026)

These four images capture Superb Fairy-wrens moving through a lavender garden, briefly appearing between the dense purple blooms. Rather than focusing only on the birds themselves, this series explores the relationship between subject, colour and environment, using the lavender to frame each small moment. Together, the images celebrate the beauty found when wildlife becomes part of the landscape around it.
