Jill Patterson, A Quiet Moment (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

One morning in the beautiful sunrise soft light I was watching the pelicans at low tide in Harrington, Mid North Coast. I noticed one pelican wander off on its own as if it needed a quiet moment, so I waited until it stopped creating a ring in the water and took the shot. The colours of the morning and simplicity of the shot made for a lovely image.
