Carol Grimshaw, A Moment between Light and Dark in Modern Art (SINGLE SHOT 2025)
As SFMoMA closed that Monday, the artist ambled right and right again to return to the hotel. The second right revealed the sun descending, capturing the shadow of a moment between light and dark emphasizing the lamp post on its outer shell incorporating Monterey Bay silicate crystal. Untouched, the image seizes a moment of sharp inhale when the shooter simply looked up.
