2025 TRAVEL CATEGORY: TOP 20

Photographer of the Year, presented by Ted's, is the largest competition of its kind for amateur photographers in Australia and New Zealand. Congratulations to the following photographers who finished at the top of the TRAVEL category.

The TRAVEL category challenges photographers to shoot four images that work together as a cohesive series. Images are judged as a group, rather than individually, and series where there is a thematic or aesthetic relationship between the images tend to perform better in judging.

The TRAVEL category can can include portraiture, landscapes, wildlife and other imagery, but should attempt to reveal something about the culture or the unique character of a place or experience. Images can be captured anywhere in the world including in Australia or New Zealand.
