2025 BLACK & WHITE CATEGORY: TOP 20

Photographer of the Year, presented by Ted's, is the largest competition of its kind for amateur photographers in Australia and New Zealand. Congratulations to the following photographers who finished at the top of the BLACK & WHITE category.

The BLACK & WHITE  category challenges photographers to shoot four images that work together as a cohesive series. Images are judged as a group, rather than individually, and series where there is a thematic or aesthetic relationship between the images tend to perform better in judging.

Images may be black and white or monochrome (eg sepia, selenium, etc). Images with more than one tone, for example, spot-colour, duotone and and colour images are not eligible. Images may be captured in black and white or converted from colour to monochrome in post-production.
